There's a "change" a comin......tomorrow!

So, where do i begin? When we pulled in yesterday, we were all a little disappointed with our Campsite...it's not that it was terrible or anything like that...it just didn't have a very large pool (which was so warm it was not at all refreshing) and also it had NO kind of beach access! So, Kipper, Betty and I went Campsite shopping early this morning! turns out that right up the road a 1/2 mile is a KOA, so we checked it out and WOW is it nice!! huge pool and Hot tub....and small beach access.. (plenty big for who all's there now) this is the "off" season down here! :) so tomorrow we will be moving there and then the fun will begin......BEACH It in the morning, and POOL in the afternoon...come back, eat supper and go where-ever after that!

This afternoon we drove 20 minutes to KEY West~~~ absolutely amazing...Old Town, lots of shops, restaurants and tropical plants and flowers!! "breathtaking" We went to the bullet shaped monument that marks the Southern most point of the United States!! 90 miles to Cuba! many people there waiting to get their pics taken by it....everyone passes their camera's back to the people behind them to take their pictures...it's really cool how people are so congenial at resorts! After we left there, we drove up and down Duval Street which is sort of the "strip" district! ALL kinds of shops, tattoo parlors and really neat things for a few miles!! We found BLUE HEAVEN restaurant that a friend (Bev) had suggested, and this place is like NO OTHER!! really our of the norm.....nice sovenier shop, tables all outside under umbrella's (which was good, cause it rained a little while we were there) hahaha. there is quite a history behind this place...you need to go on-line to read about it, but chickens and roosters run loose all over the place while you're there....they are not pesty or noisey and never disturb you, but they just show up and keep moving on! i KNOW for sure my Sister Kathy would have NEVER EATEN THERE in a million years!!! hahaha but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

After that we left (with intentions of going back some evening and taking the bus tour and getting pictures of a sunset from a certain point!! ) we came back to the camper for supper, and while we were getting ready, someone looked out the window and saw an Iguana!!!!! YES~ pretty big too...we have pictures to share with you, so keep watching for that! :)

Oh, by the way, did i mention that on our way down thru the Keys's yesterday, there were signs along the road saying "Crocodile Crossing" next 7 miles!!! that's right, you read it right....how's that for something you don't see everyday!! cracked me up! and also, the owner of this RV park has a Banana Tree right next door with 3 huge bunches of banana's on it!! i was totally impressed!!

well, that' about it for tonight...we are going out for a bit, and tomorrow is moving day...can't wait to post tomorrow night!! that is if i don't stay in the pool or hot tub too long~~ can't promise anything, i'm a sucker for water and i'll probably look like a dark brown prune when i get home!! (hope so) see ya!
